This is a beautiful locally made charcuterie board using catalpa wood. This wood is known for its beautiful grain often used in furniture, as it is rot resistant. It is finished with a walrus oil that is both food safe and gives a protective coat to your wood product. When charcuterie boards get worn, just give a light sand and reapply a protective food safe coating of your choice to make them continue to look brand new.
These are beautiful decorative pieces, for charcuterie, or with handles as a tray.
Boards are taken from live edge wood pieces and so have natural flaws and markings on wood. Please see pictures to make sure boards are to your liking as they are all unique and none are the exact same.
